Does anyone else think Jordin Sparks Lip Synched the Anthem?

I do! I don't even think she tapped it before the show.

  8. Possibly, but that's set up every year. They pre-record it just in case there's a problem with the on-field audio. I'm sure she could have sung it live. Might have been something out of their control.

  11. Yes, I do believe she was lip syncing, though I am not surprised. This is not a negative on her, because I know she can sing, but rather a broadcast decision to keep everything as perfect as possible.

  13. going by seeing how nervous she was before she sung, i'd guess no. but if she did, she's got good reason i mean do you know how HUGE that place is and how hard it's gotta be to hear? either way, she's obviously a good live singer she came from idol. and she did a kick a** job so it doesn't matter
  14. No, not at all. She did a beautiful job and so did Alicea Keys with her performance as well. Jordin is not Ashley Simpson, who number 1) can not sing for $hit and 2) lip sync every God damn song there is. Again, I repeat NO SHE DID NOT LIP SYNC, she tore that Anthem up and her voice was VERY LIVE.

  17. without a doubt, she did a wonderful job of.. lip syncing. The TV director did a GREAT job of cutting to other images (players etc) at parts where it would have been obvious, EXCEPT towards the end, he screwed up at the end of one of her long notes, where you could see (if you are observant) that she was lip syncing.
  18. Yes. Jordin Sparks lip synched the national anthem. It has to be perfectly timed because of the jets flying overhead at the end of the song.
  19. She sure did. I love the excuse about the delay though. There was no delay throughout the entire song. They made the mistake of doing a close-up at the one part where she was off near the end of the song. I know she was definitely lip-syncing but I don't think it's that big of a deal. It would be nice if she just admitted to it but obviously they want us to believe she was singing live, so she won't do that. I was worried for her doing the National Anthem live at such a huge event. Half way in to the song I was surprised that it was absolutely perfect, which is impossible no matter how much she practiced. I mentioned to my roommate at that point that it was a studio recording and she was lip-syncing. It wasn't till near the end when I saw where she finally messed up and I had my proof. I have the entire thing saved on my DVR and have gone over it a couple more times and only at that one point is her lips off from the song, proving it wasn't caused by a delay which would have been there through the entire song. As for the nervous look and sigh of relief at the end; she's new to this game and was in front of more people than she has ever been including those there at the game and those watching. Plus she was lip-syncing in front of all these people, I'd be nervous too especially after all the lip-syncing incidents like Ashley Simpson. She was relieved it was over and that for the most part she didnt mess up and sang along with the recording near perfectly.
