American Idol!?

I'm wondering, does anybody know when the tickets for the American Idol Tour starts for the '08 season? I checked their website & I couldn't find it. Also, if anyone has been to a tour concert, is there a chance to get a little close to any of the contestants? I know my friends took a picture with Phil Stacey of last season, & I was wondering if she was just lucky.

  3. I got to go to the AI concert by the season 2 contestants (you know, Clay and Ruben). My husband stood in line at the ticketmaster booth at the arena the day they went on sale and I got pretty good tickets. As far as getting close to them, I think it's a matter of being in the right place at the right time. They didn't hang out for autographs and pictures before or after the concert.
