Why do you think Jordin Sparks of American Idol first album dudded out?

It was the first IDOL to be a dud....what do you think happened?

  1. she wasnt the best from the show, i dont think she should have won so thats y i think it did so bad
  2. She only has one song that the public knows. And its not the best. I guess America has lost it's interest in American Idol. Thats a shame.
  3. The songs st too were just too Pop-y. Nothing that really showcased her vocals.
  4. Just my opinion, of course, but I only tuned in to the competition for the competition part. I wasn't thrilled with her and thought Blake was much more unique and deserving.
  5. I think people are tired of the show. I know that I haven't watched since like season 3 and I barely watched that. There are so many reality/contest shows on t.v. now that Idol is just another amongst dozens. No one cares. Maybe Jordin is talented, I have no clue, but I 'm not buying an Idol album. The albums tend to be watered down versions of the artist anyway. I feel they're under strict contract and the albums don't even reflect their true talent or personality. In short...It's a wack.
  6. her songs are lame! so yes. when she gets a better vibe goign (if she does) hopefully she'll bounce back
  7. Her sound isn't anything unique. She's just your typical teen female pop singer. She's not someone who makes you want to rush out and *buy* her album for. That's the other thing -- her sound is targeted to the teen generation who are more interested in finding out where to download the album for *free*. They don't wanna buy either.
