What song do you feel has the most inspiration, determenation and love of finding yourself??
These 3 songs are my top favorite i was wondering if anyone knew any song with similar meaning in the lyrics:
1. This is My Now-Jordin Sparks ( this song talks about how she is leaving her past behind and now is stronger and will overcome anything )
2. Reflection- Christinia Aguilera ( Is about wanting to discover who you really are and be confused about finding the true you)
3. Greatest Love Of All Lyrics-Whitney Houston ( Basically it about the most important thing in life is the love inside yourself)
Public Comments
- so many songs from christina aguilera and songs by enya
- Surrender, Cheap Trick a song about believing in yourself
- Stars and Stripes of Corruption - The Dead Kennedys
- Hawksley Workman's Your Beauty must be rubbing off...
- bold as love by jimi hendrix
- How about "You Gotta Be Bad, You gotta be bold..." and, "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilara, You and your Hand by Pink, and Get this Party Started.
- Kanye West - Stronger (this song talks about how when life gets tough, you can't back down or let it weaken you; you just have to let it make you harder, bigger, faster, and stronger) Eminem - Lose Yourself (this song talks about taking every opportunity and using it to the fullest because you'll probably never get another chance at it in the future)
- Make It Happen-Mariah Carey
- Pink - I love Myself Today
- Anyway by Martina McBride.About doing things and trying even if it doesn't "turn out like it should"....so inspirational and beautiful and makes me smile everytime I hear it.....
- Kelly Clarkson's song Breakaway is SO awesome! It's like my themesong! It just gives me this feeling of hope and determination and of finding yourself! But that's just my opinion. everyone has a song and that's DEFINETELY mine!
- No, no no!!! Scratch off Whitney Houston from your list. "The Greatest Love of All" She starts out by singing: "I believe the children our the future..." Okay...good start. She apparently cares about our children. She cares about our future... She sounds like a good person. But wait a second... What do we find out is the "greatest love of all" anyway? Is it the children? Is it the future? NO!! It's all about whitney learning to love herself. Talk about egocentrism! I shouldn't have expected more from a woman whose first album was entitled: "Whitney Houston" followed up by a second album entitled "Whitney" Are you starting to see the pattern here? Someone is in love with herself a little too much.
- My *favorite* song, since it's introduction is still WHERE WERE YOU (when the world stopped turning)? by Alan Jackson. This song captures our (American's) spirit and inspiration to make a positive difference in society. This might be a little "too country" for you, but try to think outside the box, just like he intended and successfully does with his many versions of songs.
