How can I sing like Jordin Sparks or Kelly Clarkson?

I am 12 years old. I am using my babysitters Yahoo! Answers. She said I could use it. I was having an appointment with this lady. She told me by the sound of my voice, that I sound like I can hit notes really high. I dont think I can sing very well. I told her that, and she said I could sucseed.   3. basically you have to be born with it, and if she says you sound good then thats great! but it always better to sound unique than to sound like someone else, thats how people get to be big stars

  5. You should gargle with honey, and practice, regularly, but make sure you don't tire your voice out. And drink PLENTY of water. Have you thought of singing lessons? Oh and listen to your favourite singers as much as possible. It's like reading; reading builds your vocabulary, music helps you sing.

  8. I have a problem with this lady telling you that you can succeed. Nobody can guarrantee that you can succeed. She has told you that you can sing, if she knows her business she will know that. I would get a second opinion on your voice, it sounds like this lady is looking to take you on as a student but it seems to me to be only for the money.
  9. heyyy alexandra! omg, u are just like meah, u love 2 sing, and ur teachers tell u that u can succeed, what i do is, i tell everyone i am good at singing. take classes, and then try out, hun. im 11 years old by de way. hehehe :P ---this advive aint helpful, is it? well, all i can tell you is dont let any1 stand in ur way.
  10. like everyone else said....practice practice but why do you want to sing like them for? add a little twist to your style...make it your own...be yourself...i'm not saying their bad singer...i love!! them but just be yourself...it's more natural
