Jordin Sparks the "vision of unhealth"?

I can't believe that anyone (especially some 120 lbs, 5'6" toothpick) would have the nerve to say that Jordin Sparks is the vision of unhealth. Is it so unrealistic that a girl NOT be anorexic just to be healthy? She may not be fashion model thin, and in fact, she might have a little more fat than she needs or wants, BUT do we have to judge her by her weight? She's beautiful, she has a great voice, AND she's a better role model for young women to think it's okay to be a little heavy than all those toothpick people who strut around and make our little girls think they have to try crazy, unhealthy diets to be thin enough!

  1. Girl, I TOTALLY agree with you!
  2. we totally agree with you!!! people should not be judged by their weight!!!!!! people should be judjed by their insides andpersonalities
  3. we all know jordan is not tiny, but shes not obese, i think she might want to lose a few pounds so she can be healthier/more fit
  4. I think it's weird to use the term "vision of unhealth". Jordon certainly seems to be overweight but by no means obese and I would understand if that used that term for her if she was obese.. hmmn.. or a toothpick. If people want to argue that she makes a bad role model because of her weight I want to see how they can defend the unhealthily thin actresses.
  5. I COMPLETELY agree!
  6. You are absolutely right. Jordin is gorgeous just the way she is and if anyone says different they are just jealous.
  7. ROCK ON SISTER!! I totally agree with you!! She got her title for her talent, not her looks....even though personally, I think she is entirely gorgeous!! I would so rather have my own daughter look to her for guidance rather than Britney...ehem..
  8. I completely agree. I don't think she's fat at all; just thick which is a good thing. Jordin is beautiful just the way she is and shouldn't have to be subjected to criticism from a brainless barbie. Besides, her dad is a football player. She was bound to be big......
  9. I'm not sure what prompted the original comments, but they didn't sound vicious in nature, only realistic. No matter how you look at Jordin, she's big. She's very tall and she's on the heavier side. It's not to say she's not pretty or talented. But she is easily carrying around an extra 30 lbs. Granted 5'6" and 120 is on the light side, but if you view from a strictly medical standpoint, which is how the comment was framed, it's a lot healther than the weight Jordin is. A 17 year-old should not be overweight at all. They should be in the best shape of their lives. Weight and height should be proportional and a teenager should not have a spare tire to camouflage. If they do, what will they be like at 40? It really is a health issue. Americans are overweight and unhealthy & that has become acceptable in our culture, which it should not be.
