Why are people complaining about Jordin Sparks' weight?

Do tell me if you like her, but what's the problem? She's perfectly fine compared to that bony a--ed Paris Hilton, whom I find to be horrifically, hideously ugly and disgusting. I love Jordin. She's a beautiful light-skinned, tall and perfectly thick girl who has good looks and talent to match. It's not like Jordin is obese, weighing over 200 pounds or something. Some people are too shallow to consider a girl who's BMI might be between 20.0 and 27.5. Bony blondes are what I call a "turn-off" but Jordin Sparks is a 13( 1 to 10 scale ) in my book. I wouldn't even "think" of marrying her. I'd just do it.

  3. I think she is a very bright & beautiful young woman she is very tall..her weight is fine but in La La land where everyone who eats carrots is pencil thin she does not meet their standards ..but I heard her on Ellens talk show & she is happy with herself so good for her..
  4. Jordin is overweight. I know for black peeps she is the perfect weight... but this is not a "black" world that we live in. So she is fat. They pick on her b/c she is fat.

They are people who think others should be judged by what is on the outside--OR--they are extremely jealous, good for nothing losers who will never become anything because they have no self esteem, and the only thing that makes THEM feel good is when they can put somebody else down. Problem is it doesn't work that way. It just makes you a permanent loser in the eyes of those you want to actually endear. Besides, a great deal of Americans are just as "fat" if not morbidly obese, so talk about calling the kettle black. And yes she is tall, and as someone almost 6 feet tall myself, I'd say most women resent her because she just literally TAKES over a room when she comes in. Combine that with beauty, brains, and talent...and I'd say most women and quite a few men would certainly have snarky remarks about her because they simply resent her for blocking out their sunlight!!!!
  6. She's beautiful and very mature for a 17 year old. The people who are dissing her about her weight are sitting home with a donut in one hand and a 16 oz Coke in the other, wondering what they should have for their "real" snack.
  7. I think it's more about her overall size than just her weight. I mean that girl is an Amazon. Did you see how she towered over Seacrest and Blake? So, when you combine her considerable height to her full figured frame, it is rather intimidating to most men.
  8. you know, hopefully jordin is grounded & secure enough to ignore stupid remarks about her weight. she's a beautiful girl (let's remember that she is only a teenager) & should not be starving herself to fit in with the stick figures that everyone loves to hate(i.e. paris, nicole ritchie)
  9. the skinnies are feeling threatened by the new and healthy look that is being brought in....anorexic girls are out....i personally weigh over 200 lbs but i carry it very well...i am never gonna be as skinny as paris or nicole..but i am atheltic and fit for my body type...could use a little more exorcise but most importantly i am proud of who i am..and that is what is great and honorable about Jordin...she is proud of who she is and what she looks like and that is the kind of role model we need nowadays...
  10. I think she's such a gorgeous girl. She's not the least bit fat, and she's just healthy looking. Compared to Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton, of course she looks bigger .. but they both have most likely had eating disorders, and that's not healthy, but that kind of look is just what we're used to seeing that in Hollywood, which is not good because we feel like we have to model ourselves after them, which is not at all healthy. Jordin Sparks is beautiful.

  12. Because she is hefty and overweight and it wouldn't hurt her to befriend a treadmill. She is sending out the message to young women everywhere that it is OK to be fat when it is in fact unhealthy.
