Who's your American Idol 2007?

Here are my thoughts: Melinda: the best singer but i don't find her appealing at all. I don't get hyped up about buying a CD or going to her concert. She seems very sweet but she doesn't have that star quality and charisma...but she is the best vocally. Blake: He's got star quality and originality - he can sing but i think it's his performances and his creative-ness with some of his "song producings" that make him stand out. Jordin: She's got alot of potential. Not as good vocally as Melinda but still a GREAT singer. She's got the whole package - GREAT crystal voice, emotion, look, "fresh" and young personality. There, tried to make it fair with all 3 - but those are just my personal thoughts - who's your american Idol?

Well, Melinda does have an excellent voice, but I feel like you, she just doesnt thrill me and Blake really does not have a pure singing voice, he can do that beatboxing, etc. but singing wise his voice is weak and yes, I would have to say Jordan has the whole deal and is what you would expect when you think of someone who would be an idol, she is young and fresh and her voice is pure and amazing!

  5. I really liked Phil. He's from my area - so that helps. But mostly he's just a good guy with a lot of heart and a great amount of talent. I hear he's got some deals in the works, so I hope he does well.
  6. Totally agree with you. Melinda has a very solid voice but she doesnt have that star presence. Jordin has a great voice and a wonderful personality, i think she'd make a great star. Blake knows how to attract a crowd but I don't find his singing impressive and beat boxing can only get you so far. I want blake gone tomorrow night and Melinda deserves to win it because she's been the best singer in the competition. I think Jordin may win though.
  7. I like Blake! I'm not so confident he will stay though. He is form Seattle! YAY! I live there! Jordin is really good! Especially for her age! Melinda also has a very strong voice. I would have to say I agree with you!
  8. Ok, here's what I think about the 3: Jordin- She's young enough to appeal to the younger voting audience. She has a certain quality to her voice that I can't pin my finger on, but she sounds like some other singer (that was really good) when she hits certain notes. And, she carries those big notes well. Melinda- She's probably appealing more to the older voting audience and may have an edge on them. She's got a very trained voice, but some of her songs I've thought were a bit challenging for her, however, she pulled them off like a pro. Blake- Now, this is who I'd like to see win this year's competition. Blake has done what is supposed to have been done throughout the course of the show. He's brought original above and beyond the call of duty, he's not scared of taking those risks (even though at first I thought he was a bit egotistical), he's got a proven track record that there's no one else out there making records that sound like the ones he's going to successfully make. Overall, it's been a good season, don't you agree?

  11. Can i tell you i think they have the voice to win, but what about their personality? My fav. is Jordin, I am from her state, but that isent just why. I think she has probably the best personality to win. Shes bubbly, funny, cute, and amazing talanted voice, and just 17. She will be a big hit if she wins she reminds me of a Katherine McPhee. Blake is second for me although he will probably be going home tomorrow, but he did a good job tonight. It is too hard. he also has a good personality and his own style. Melinda is my last choice and I think that because she knows shes good. If you remember Simon telling her not to act surprised cause he got annoyed i so realted. Everytime she got that big smile on her face when Randy said "Melinda is in it to win it tonight dawg. That was another HOT perfromance" she used a fake smile to show her appreciation for Randy. To me she is also the least appealing and has the least personality! She is just not bubbly or has that AMERICAN IDOL personality! To tell you the truth it is all a tough desision and is up 2 you, personally i am just glad Sanjaya wasent in the top 3! What about you??

  13. I agree with you, I think Melinda has a great voice but she's very boring to me. I think Jordin will take it. But overall I think this season of American Idol has been extremely boring!!
  14. Blake will get the boot tomorrow night. It will be between Jordin and no neck Dolittle....and the winner is Jordin. So why even bother to watch it anymore.
  15. Jordin..but my favorite performance for this season is still Melinda's "Home".

  17. Blake's the best. I love him. He's been my favorite the whole time: although really, I never really liked any of the people on American Idol this season.
